XMAS

Looking at my project, the strongest area here was pretty much my drawing and scanning it in.
Overall this project was a struggle for me, but drawing the ornaments had to be the strongest part of my project even though it didn't come out the way i wanted it too. Honestly everything could be improved, I redid this project since my first try didn't come out right at all. But mainly the ornaments and the details behind I think I could've improved. To me nothing about this was easy it was pretty difficult, I mean the task itself was self explanatory, but me just doing it was hard. The goal of this project was to make gradients out of shiny object (the ornaments) with sketches put around it, by using the tools in Illustrator and Photoshop like the pen tool, and the gradients, scaling, and measuring to put this project together. If I could do this project again, I'd do everything differently, I did do it twice, but I feel like it could've been way better if I had it right the first time around.

CARTOON ME

The strongest area of this piece of work was drawing the cartoon and scanning it onto the computer, then putting it into Photoshop
I don't think there's any area in this piece of work where improvement can be made, I actually like how this cartoon came out
The easiest part of this art activity had to be sketching the cartoon, and coloring it in, in Photoshop, while connecting the lines to one another using the polygon lasso tool was kind of difficult
To due this art activity I used illustrator, paint bucket, pen tool, and lasso tool to put this cartoon together
The goal of this activity was to create a cartoon of ourselves, and I demonstrated this by turning my sketch on paper to a cartoon of myself by using illustrator and Photoshop
If I could do this project again. I'd make sure that the lines in my sketch were closed, it was kind of difficult to use the paint bucket because it'd go out of the sketch filling unwanted space since it wasn't closed.

POLAROID

1.      The strongest area of my work was the Polaroid, since I really just positioned them any way I wanted too.
2.      Although that was the strongest area of my work, an area that could've been improved is the background only because it wasn't my first choice so I didn't really plan it out. I just quickly put it together in order to have one.

3. But what I found easy about this project was importing and positioning the Polaroid, while also cropping out what I didn't need in order to make it look 3Dish.
4. The only thing I found difficult was the use of different tools and skills within Photoshop like merging, and cropping.
5.      The tools  I mainly used were both the lasso tools, and the eraser to take out what I didn't need around the Polaroid.
6.     The goal of this project was to create Polaroid using a picture of our choosing, and I think I fulfilled that goal as shown above by using a photo in a Polaroid form with a background that goes with my image. Therefore I don't think I'd change anything if I was to do this activity again.

Artist Reflection

The strongest area of my work was the composition, arranging the letters in a specific place along with the font type. Although an area I could improve on would be being more creative; using more than just one font, I could've mixed the fonts around. There's just more tools I could've used to make letter assignment pop more. But I honestly forgot how to use Adobe Photoshop, which made this art activity difficult.

It was slightly easy to create this because I remembered the basics only. Maybe if I actually remembered more my art work probably wouldn't be so basic. To create this I only layered and I think I clipped one of the images so the B would be above the color theory; burgundy and white.

The goal of this art activity was to create a Photoshop document with just one letter using basic Photoshop skills, which I exhibited for the most part. But if I could do this activity again I'd try using more skills.
